What is Quiz Dates!™ and how does it work?
Quiz Dates!™ is a fun, no-pressure activity for meeting new people that combines the entertainment of a trivia quiz with the fun of LIVE dating. Unlike numerous other singles and dating web sites, we do not email
you a list of people who have common interests.
Our LIVE events bring people together in a fun and friendly environment where you meet up to 21 members of the opposite sex, face-to-face.
Our events typically last about 2 hours and teams correctly answer the rounds of questions of
pop culture, general knowledge, music, entertainment, etc... that are fired by the Quiz Emcee. (Don't worry, our questions are not designed to 'stump'
anyone!)
More importantly, during the event, we mix up the teams after each round of questions and you will have the opportunity to meet everyone in the room.
When the event is over, log on to Quiz Dates!™ and let your interest be known to anyone who especially grabbed your attention!
If you still have questions before the event starts, don’t worry. Your host will explain how Quiz Dates!™ works and will answer any questions you may have.
Why Quiz Dates!™?
Brainstormer has been hosting trivia quizzes for over ten years. During that time, we have noticed that the dynamic of the quiz is a great way
for people to interact with each other in a non-threatening environment. Friendships have been formed and, we are happy to say,
a lot of long term relationships and marriages have resulted from people attending our events!
How do I subscribe to Quiz Dates!™ mailing list?
It’s easy and FREE! All you have to do is visit our home page at www.quizdates.com and provide your email address and Zipcode at the ‘Signup’
section. We will add you to our mailing list and keep you informed about upcoming events.
What is the members section?
Everyone who subscribes Quiz Dates!™ mailing list has the option to become a member and create their own Quiz Dates!™ profile.
This takes about thirty seconds and you can create your profile at any time. When you have a profile you can view the profiles
of other Quiz Dates!™ members. If you register to attend a specific event you MUST have a profile.This will allow you to interact with other
Quiz Daters! after you have attended a party.
I see a profile I like. How do I contact that person?
You have the opportunity to interact with other members only by attending our parties. When you register to attend an event,
your profile will be visible to all other event attendees when the event has concluded.
This allows event attendees to view others' profiles and to contact other attendees NOTE:
Only members who attend an event will be able to view profiles and contact the other attendees.
Go to the 'Events' section and navigate to the event you attended.
Click on the 'View/Contact This Events Participants' button.
If you are correctly logged into your account, the profiles of all members who attended your
party will appear. Click on a profile you like and the 'Send a Drink' button appears,
allowing you to contact that person via email!
When and where are Quiz Dates!™ parties held?
Parties will be held at different venues on a regular basis, starting in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please visit the ‘Events’ section often to find out when and where you can join us.
How do I register for a specific party?
Simply, view our Events section to see a list of upcoming parties. Select the party you would like to attend and click on the 'More Info.' button. Then click ‘REGISTER NOW FOR THIS PARTY!’ link or button. You will then be walked through a few basic steps to register.
The party I want to attend is full. What can I do?
If an event is full, you can join the stand-by list. If someone cancels, this will free up space and we will notify all stand-bys via email. Click on the ‘JOIN THE STAND-BY LIST’ link or button. You will then be walked through a few basic steps to register.
How much does it cost to attend a party?
Please refer to the event description to see what the fee is per event. Please note, the fee is non-refundable although we will happily issue you with a credit for a future event if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
The success of our events is dependent upon member participation. Our events are non-refundable.
Therefore, you should be sure you can attend a party before registering for it.
However, if you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance,
we will gladly offer you a seat to attend a future Quiz Dates!™ event of your choosing but within six months of the event you cancelled for.
This advance notice will allow us enough time to offer your seat to someone else.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the event, we regret that we cannot offer you a refund nor a seat to attend a future event.
To cancel an existing reservation, you must click on the ‘CANCEL RESERVATION’ button or link at the listing you had previously
registered for. When you have done this,
please contact us to make arrangements for attending a future event.
I own/manage a venue and want to host a Quiz Dates!™ event.
Quiz Dates!™ is looking for select locations across the U.S. to host our events, preferably venues that host a regular trivia quiz. We will bring a large group of people to your venue on an ‘off’ night and list your venue on our Web site and in our email marketing. In return we need a private or semi-private area of your bar/restaurant to host the event and drink specials to offer our members.
